Comments: Served in Nam from April-Sept of '67. My base camp was Camp Evans on Hgwy. One just south of Que. We were on a sweep and on the night of Sep.18 we took on heavy casualties. From what I saw and heard that night I don't think many of us made it out that night. I was flown out, never to see or hear from my outfit again. I was in a 60mm mortar team.
