So long ago, or was it yesterday? Rolling Thunder on Sunday 24 May 98 was beyond awesome. A little old lady on the side of Constitution Ave., waving and holding a flag, told me, "Welcome Home." First time I heard that from anyone except family. It's been 30 years in coming.

Comments: I served during the invasion of Iwo Jima and then on Quaduline Island attached to the 141st C-Bees. I had a good friend whom we named E.P. Pacheko (not certain on correct spelling of last name). I have lost all contact with him. If anyone should know of him, please contact me.
