Applications for Third Marine Division Association Memorial College Scholarships for the 2012- 2013 academic year are currently available from the Secretary, Memorial Scholarship Fund, MGySgt. James G. Kyser, USMC (Ret), 15727 Vista Dr., Dumfries, VA 22025-1810.

All sons and daughters of those Association members who have held Association membership for at least two (2) consecutive years immediately prior to the eligible dependent child's first application for scholarship assistance are eligible to apply for scholarship consideration.

Those interested are urged to act immediately since applications must be completed and returned by April 15, 2012. (Applications arriving after April 15 will be returned unopened.)

Established in 1969, to honor the loss in Vietnam of Division Commander General Bruno A. Hochmuth, the Memorial Scholarship Fund has now honored over four hundred students with college scholarship awards in excess of $500,000.00. As a result, students of Third Marine Division Association members have consistently demonstrated excellence in colleges and universities across the United States.

Donations to enable the Association to continue this distinguished program are always welcome - and needed - and should be sent to the Association Manager, P. O. Box 254, Chalfont, PA 18914-0254.
