THE LION AND THE ROSE |
Tuesday, August 25 |
| Your evening begins with a ride on an authentic British double-decker bus to The Lion and Rose, a British restaurant and pub. A real pub is a place to gather for a great meal, warm conversation, good music, and fine spirits. The Lion and Rose has it all! Play a game of darts, relax in our comfortable pub, have the best English and American food around, and enjoy a pint of one of the finest beers from around the world. Dinner includes a choice of entrée - such as fish & chips, steak sandwich or jerk chicken - with a soft drink beverage. Other drinks are available by cash bar. The bus will make a couple of return trips back to the hotel with the last one at 10:15 PM. |

FORT SAM HOUSTON TOUR |
Wednesday, August 26 |
| Tentative plans include a windshield tour of Fort Sam Houston, a medical training facility. We'll spend some time in the Medical Museum (film and briefing), see the Quadrangle, and have lunch at Sam Houston Club. You'll learn about Fisher House, Brook Army Hospital, and the Center of the Intrepid during the day. More details to come. A photo-ID will be required to enter the base |

FREDERICKSBURG |
Thursday, August 27 |
| Enjoy a scenic ride to Fredericksburg to tour the Museum of the Pacific War, which is dedicated to everyone who served in the Pacific under Admiral Nimitz. Walk through the Garden of Peace, a gift from the people of Japan, and stroll down the History Walk of Tanks. The Museum has just completed a 3.5 acre expansion featuring a Pacific Combat Zone with a P-T boat and more. Unfortunately, the main gallery of the museum will be closed during renovation, but the museum staff has promised an impressive tour despite the partial closure. Enjoy lunch at one of several restaurants or delis located on Fredericksburg's downtown Main Street. There is shopping nearby on Main Street for those interested. |

CITY TOUR |

| From the earliest Spanish Missionaries in 1691 to today's traveler, San Antonio's appeal continues to draw attention. Relax and enjoy a fully narrated tour of San Antonio's unique blend of rich heritage, traditions and natural beauty. Points of interest include stops at the San Jose Mission, which is still an active church and is part of the National Park Service, the largest of the missions; the Alamo, the city's first mission; San Fernando Cathedral, the original church of the Canary Island settlers. Drive by the Riverwalk, Hemisfair (the site of the 1968 World's Fair), and more. Enjoy lunch on you own and shopping at El Mercado, a unique Mexican Market featuring a combination of Tex-Mex cuisine, entertainment, and products ranging from pearls to piñatas. After lunch, enjoy some free time on the Riverwalk or return to the hotel. Consider boarding a barge for a cruise down the river (fee to be paid by individual). |

| After an early dinner on your own, we'll head for Austin. For more than 25 years, the talented troupe at Esther's Follies has kept Austin on the map with its show's continuous hilarity. This fun-filled show offers a combination of music, magic, and humorous satire. The show starts off with Esther's Follies' "news mavens". You'll love their musical parody on all the current events. The show also features Ray Anderson, Austin's nationally renowned magician. Sit back and enjoy his distinctive way of combining magic and comedy all in one act!. |

CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY FOR ARMED FORCES REUNIONS, INC. For attendees canceling reunion activities prior to the cut-off date, Armed Forces Reunions, Inc. (AFR) shall process a full refund less the non-refundable AFR registration fee ($5 per person). Attendees canceling reunion activities after the cut-off date will be refunded to the fullest extent that AFR’s vendor commitments and guarantees will allow, less the non-refundable AFR registration fee. Cancellations will only be taken Monday through Friday from 9:00am until 5:00pm Eastern Standard Time, excluding holidays. Please call (757) 625-6401 to cancel reunion activities and obtain a cancellation code. Refunds processed 4-6 weeks after reunion. Canceling your hotel reservation does not cancel your reunion activities
